Namaste and Welcome to Happy Home Nepal. We are more than grateful to have you volunteer with us. Below we’ve provided information about different volunteer positions, locations and further details about working with our children.

Volunteer Positions

Volunteers are not required to have professional qualifications but we do require a strong willingness to serve others and help children. After volunteering in one position you may want to switch. This is usual, as volunteers find more effective ways to serve our organization and children. Possible positions include:

English Teacher/Tutor
Web Design/Promotion  Book Keeping/Accounting 
Staff Trainer

English Teacher/Tutor
You are welcome to teach at the children’s school once you become acquainted with the classroom. They do not require TOEFL training but it is recommended. Teaching requires highly motivated and patient volunteers as it can be rigorous working with multiple children. You are also welcome to simply tutor the children before and after school.

Web Design and Promotion
We’re always seeking volunteers who are interested in making changes to our website. This does require some experience.

Book Keeping and Accounting
These volunteers help organize our finances and reply to people who request this information. These volunteers work closely with our staff to audit all income and expenses. Some experience in this area would be helpful.

Trainer 
This volunteer helps our staff improve their English, and possibly gives advice on better ways to run our organization.
